Dear All,

I need a clarification

While make a selection in dashboard then what will be the change in CPU?

As I knew

the data reflect from RAM while make any selections in dashboard then what how about CPU?

Can anyone help me out in this.

If you need the exact CPU consumption, you need to monitor using Windows.

Use Resource Monitor to monitor CPU performance - TechRepublic

If you need only to know how many secs where spent on each graph please use @jpe recomendation

You could take a look at 'calc time' field in the document properties. 

Make sure to test the object before going to the sheet. There is a good chance that if the calc time is long , the object is CPU intensive.

CPU usage is affected by:

  • Your data model
  • Number of records
  • Complexity of your expressions
  • Object type you are using (Pivot Tables consumes more than Straight tables, for example)

Could you elaborate little bit more?

I want to know after made any selections in dashboard, how the CPU respond exactly?

Such as RAM performs reflects the data according to our selections and so what exactly CPU perform for the same instance?

I hope someone could help me out!!
