Access Point Url

Hi,

I wanted to make my Qlikview Access Point URL custom login page as Https://

I have installed ssl certiface in server,

Please let me know what is the procedure???

Hi,

The answer depends on if you are using QVWS are IIS. If you are using QVWS you have to install the certificate and then set in the QMC under the QlikView Web Servers>general the box for https and set the port to 443.

If using IIS you will need to install the certificate and then add port 443 to the bindings and remove port 80/

In QMC->System->Setup->QlikView Web Servers->Select yours->General->Communication, enable the checkbox 'Use https'. If you want to use the default SSL port, change the port value from 80 into 443.

Don't forget to click the 'Apply' button.

you also have to change the config file of the qvws

yes,u have to select that check box "Use https" like Peter suggested,i believe tht helps to modify automatically ur config file aswell,no need to modify manually the config file.
