Why some of users cannot open the hub web?

Hi all,

I've already configured a Sense Server (including origin white list and firewall rules in Windows) and created several accounts. However, when I allocated those accounts to different users and asked they login on the hub website, some of users found it work and some didn't. Some of them had to type like "domain\username" but some of them only typing "username" is enough. I don't understand why it happened. Is it because the Server's location or the permission of the internet? Could anyone give me a solution how to solve it and make sure everyone can use this hub web successfully with same rule (eg. only type "username")? Thanks a lot!
