To make your document visible in the QlikView Access Point, you don't actually need to reload it. However, without a distribution task, you'll be responsible for putting the document in the right place and assigning the correct permissions to it. As Avinash says, documents without a reload task will not appear in the Status overview.

Put your document in the Document Root or any of the mounted folders that are marked browsable (see QMC). If you have a Publisher, do not put your document in any of the Source folders, as those documents do need a distribution task for promotion to the Access Point.

Assign correct permissions to the new document, in Windows Explorer (if you use NTFS to manage rights) or in the User Documents->Authorizations tab if you use DMS for rights management. As soon as you get these rights in order for a particular person in AD, that person will see the document in the AP.

How to publish my document in web?

Hi John,

Only scheduled task will appear in the STATUS tab, first you need to create a reload task in the DOCUMENT tab .

Go to QMC >Document tab> hear your QVW will be visible > will ok + button and add the refresh task

go to distribution>

do the required configuration i.e your server and document folder etc

Hi,

Might be the server installed in your local system and another system was not there in the same network.

When ever we want to access dashboard from access point, they must be in single network.

Another login user from another system was not given access to dashboard.

If you can place the screen shot it will be helpful to know what exactly the error was.
