Strange behaviour

Hi friends


Strange behaviour in my chart objects taking long time to load if anyone faced these situation & solved

Plz help me on these regard

Can you post what is the expressions and dimensions used in the chart? It will help to find the problem.

nothing much  complicated simple expressions as i do same in earlier projects

1) could be because of Cartesian Join in your Data Model....

2) Could be improper data model. Can you reload the application with limited load and check is there any Synthetic Key or not.

Such problem is arise only if our data modeling is not correct or maybe the use of joins is improper.

Hi Sunil,

If you have huge data, if you have less RAM in your PC, if your datamodel has any issues, if you are using complex expressions then you will get this kind of issues.  If you attach sample file then it would be easier.

There is no any Cartesian Join in Data Model. In fact  used link table concept

my qlikview application was 44 MB ,used simple calculated conditions  and my ram processing also well enough

Sunil,

To narrow down the issue go to the sheet properties by pressing Ctrl +Alt + S together. Once you are in sheet properties, check the calc time and memory
