I have a table name called alpha with data A,B,C,D . and B,C is unwanted data and i want my listbox to display only A,B.
so in the expression i wrote - if(alpha <> 'B' & 'C',alpha)
But it is not working. and correct me?
Try like this
if(alpha <> 'B' AND alpha <> 'C',alpha)
If(Not WildMatch(alpha, 'B', 'C'), alpha)
Hope this helps you.
let me try this 1st.
Thanks! this works!
If you have more than two better to go with the second option.
actually i will have more than 2, my client seems to have ltos of unwanted data. i will try the second one as well, mohan.
if i want only match data ? is it like that If(Match(alpha, 'B', 'C'), alpha) ?
Yes, You need to use Not before Match because you are comparing not equals. the same equivalent function of If() which I provided earlier. But the only difference is case insensitive, treats B, b and C, c are same in this function.
Many Thanks Mohan!
