Phaneendra Kunche Jul 17, 2015 1:22 AM (in response to Jessica Lee)Let me understand you requirement.
1. First of you want to compute the Change (Current Previous)
2. and then you want to take the absolute value for the change and compute the deviation. Some think like in this website http:/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deviation_(statistics)
3. and then compute average for those values.
Is this true?

Re: Performing calculations on the data
Jessica Lee Jul 20, 2015 4:26 PM (in response to Phaneendra Kunche )Here is an example of what I'd like to compute using Qlik Sense
The original data is Contr_MSA. The final output variable I'd like to use is the measure of consistency of growth, which is the difference of Deviation and average annual growth.
I would like to know if it's possible to compute this measure internally in Qlik.
Thank you,
Jes

Aggr

Grouping data
The answer is yes.
However in all honesty, sometimes statistics packages are doing a better job at this.
So I see other people importing data from statistic packages.
Kind Regards,

Gysbert Wassenaar Jul 17, 2015 1:15 AM (in response to Jessica Lee)Very likely. Perhaps you can post a small qlikview document with some data and a more detailed explanation of what you're trying to calculate and an example of the exact results you expect based on your example data.
