I'm making great strides thanks to your support .
I wish use the command CONCAT .
I need to add the value + the value MONTH YEAR to get a new field YEARMONTH .
Could you help me?
You can use & sign to do that
YEAR & MONTH as YEARMONTH
EDIT: Convert it into a date field using the following in the script
Date#(YEAR & MONTH, 'YYYYMM') as YEARMONTH
year & month (field data) as yearmonth
Is it correct?
Ya, I believe it should work
ok It works but I ask you another helping ,
20151 ................ 2015 year ....... 1 month
Now I wish to get
year - month
2015-Jan 2015-Feb .....
A solution could be:
Year*100 + month
=Year(Today()) & '-' & month(Today())
YEAR & Pick(Month, 'Jan', 'Feb', 'Mar', 'Apr', 'May', 'Jun', 'Jul', 'Aug', 'Sep', 'Oct', 'Nov', 'Dec') as YEARMONTH
YEAR & '-' & Pick(Month, 'Jan', 'Feb', 'Mar', 'Apr', 'May', 'Jun', 'Jul', 'Aug', 'Sep', 'Oct', 'Nov', 'Dec') as YEARMONTH
may I separate them by "-" ...?
Yup, try this:
or Date(DATE#(20151,'YYYYMM'),'YYYY MMM')
You do not need Concat, just concatenate 2 or more strings with &:
Myfield & yourField as NewField
Hope it helps
Date(Date,'YYYY-MM') as YEARMONTH
