Hidden Script

Hello,

Can anyone explain what does following means:

If the hidden script contains a section access, such a section will not be

permitted in the normal script or in a script starting with a binary load of the

QlikView file containing the hidden script.

Thanks

Generally we use Hidden script in the first tab of the qvw.

we call other applications as binary load.

binary C:\Qlikview\Test1.qvw;

For example if we use the command in Test2.qvw, hidden script of Test1.qvw won't be applied in Test.qvw.

Hope you will get this. Thank you.

If you have a section access in the hidden script you can't add another section access in the normal (not hidden) part of the script.

The same applies to binary load.

I think this is the way to prevent a developer unauthorized alterations to the section access: only the developers with hidden script user and password can modify the section access.
