i want to check whether this expression is correct written. i need to use IF statement and i have 2 conditons
if(Type <> 'TSA' AND BR_NAME <> '',ENTITY_ID)
is this correct?
If you are using in Script,, use as below
If(Type <> 'TSA' and BR_NAME <> '', ENTITY_ID) as SomeName
or use below as calculated dimension
If(Type <> 'TSA' and BR_NAME <> '', ENTITY_ID)
I tried to use this expression as there are Null value inside my table. it didnt work. my bar show nothing.
If(Type ='' and, ENTITY_ID)
isnull(FieldName) or len(trim(fieldName))=0
You are correct. i had used "if(isnull(Type),ENTITY_ID)"
what if "is not null" how to apply - is not null" i have tried using type <> '', not working.
Not isNull(FieldName) or len(trim(FieldName))>0
IF(IsNull(Type) or Len(Trim(Type)) = 0, ENTITY_ID)
Thank you Manish
Provide your sample application...!
This condition should be correct
and try this condition also
if(Type <> 'TSA' AND NOT ISNULL(BR_NAME),ENTITY_ID)
this is wrong
write condition after AND otherwise remove AND
you can use "NOT ISNULL(field_name)" which can find not null field value in table
