I understand that the Variable API (of the Capability APIs) can be used to create, set and delete variables from the client browser to the Qlik App. In fact our team has played with it a bit, with success.
Q) How does the Variable API different from the Engine API - GenericVariable Class ? I don't see that the Qlik Help documentation provides any help to understand the differences, or helps guide as to which to use?
