A customer requested to create a virtual directory in IIS for his application. He wants to save some files in a directory that should be accessible from his QlikView app for some users.
I've created a directory on a fileshare server where the concerned files are kept under. Besides created a Virtual directory in IIS which physical path is set to the mentioned directory on the fileshare server. But don't know more about how should get it all to work?!
By clicking on a button in the QlikView app, it should open a file from the concerned directory, but it is currently not working. I don't know how the virtual directory in IIS should play a role here.
Any help is appreciated.
