    Comparing data between to columns

      Hi Everyone,

I am fairly "new" to Qlikview and attempting to build a module.

Firstly is there a way to compare two columns of data?

Using a basic formula eg. =sum(revenue) "revenue is a field but only used in the expression". That would be the vertical totals, and compared per product horizontally. All dependent on the "dates" that I select.

Would like a way to select eg. 201405 or combination (not limited, therefore any date) in the 1st selection and select another date eg. 201407 or combination (not limited, therefore any date) in the 2nd selection per yearmonth in the below list box.

When I select eg. 201501 (yearmonth) the revenue would display per product in the 1st Selection and when I select 201504 (yearmonth) the revenue would display per product in the 2nd Selection. BUT the yearmonth selected for the 1st Selection MUST NOT be greater the 2nd Selection yearmonth.

Therefore 2nd Selection restricted to dated AFTER 1st Selection.

Please refer to the below format:

Thanking everyone in advance for the time and effort!!!
