When we are upgrading the QlikView Server from existing built to another built in the same version , Do we need to backup the both the *.qvw document and the distributed *.qvw document and *.qvw.shared or it is enough if we take the source *.qvw documents which is not distributed?
It always makes sense to backup before upgrading. Take a copy of all the files in your document folders including the .pgo files which contain the setup and CAL information. An upgrade should not touch these files but better safe than sorry ...
