does anyone know what the web.config file in the C:\Program Files\Qlikview\Server\Legacy Files\Webpages directory is for?

      thanks

The web.config file is a standard file used by .Net framework to specify website default settings.

So I guess that web.config file is there to keep a legacy version in case we modify it and the accesspoint is crashed...

              thanks for the reply,

the web.config file has almost nothing in it, and neither publisher nor accesspoint seem to use any web.config file in qlikview server 9.

right now, i'm trying to see if i can set up qlikview to accept authentication claims, and from what i've heard, you need a web.config file for that. i'm not sure if i should just take the chance and create a web.config file in the Qlikview virtual directory in IIS and see if that works/kills accesspoint or if i should try something else.
