Nested AD security groups in publisher 8.5

We have an implementation coming up where we want to use nested Active Directory security groups to drive recipients and document access in our publisher distribution tasks. Is that supported in Qlikview publisher 8.5/9.0?

QVP reference manual doesn't cover this at all.

it is supported in Qlikview 9. in 8.5 it is somewhat supported.

As far as I know, you can distribute applications to AD users and / or AD groups.

Thanks for your answer. I knew about the support for tying user and AD security groups. We already use that since before.

My question was more specific than that. Is nested AD security groups supported or not?

nested ad security groups within the same domain is supported in qlikview 9.

Can you be explain in little more detail how to give access via AD group? I only see AD users, not groups.
