Hi, Guys
When I export table data to excel
Product | QTY |
---|---|
0012 | 10 |
ad12 | 15 |
the product 0012 will change to 12, how to solve this problem
BTW, what is the result when there are two items (0012 and 012) export data to excel
keep two rows 12 or combine into one rows?
Hi Jarven,
Excel will automatically "delete" preceding zeros so i guess you'll have to put something upfront of that product (maybe a # sign or smth).
you could do this by putting in your dimension field:
"=# & Product" without the " "-signs

Thanks for your suggestion
But plus # will coufuse user
Is there other solution ?
You can manually change the cell format in excel and then fill the missing zeros manually, too.
If you use the #-version you can edit the cells in excel afterwards via the right function and cut off that #-sign.
This would be a bit laborious but it would work.
How many rows do you have in your Product column

Chris
Try formatting the Product dimension as Text() in the script.
Text(Product) AS Product
I have already text the Product in the ETL, the problem is export to Excel
It is shows 0046 in Qliksense while it changed to 46 when export to Excel
3w records per month
So I try to find some method to change the setting of export to Excel
