Installation problem with Qlik Sense Desktop

Dear Community,

I have still issues with my qlik sense desktop installation. 4.5.2 NET Framework is already installed. My operation system is windows 8.1. What can I do?

Error: "Qlik Sense Desktop works no longer.It is looking for a solution to this problem. Cancel"

Hi!

It's not an easy error as it doesn't give much info, but... did it ever work on that PC?

Have you tried right clicking the Setup and executing it ! as administrator?

What do you have on the logs? They're located in:

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp\

And the files are in the format:

Qlik_Sense_Desktop_YYYYMMDDHHSS.log

Qlik_Sense_Desktop_YYYYMMDDHHSS_2_SenseDesktop.log

Qlik_Sense_Desktop_YYYYMMDDHHSS_3_DemoApps.log
