HOST HEADER VALUE of my IIS 6

Hi,

I'm just setup a QVS 9 SR2 7320 using IIS 6 as the Web Server and implemented SSL and Tunelling. My web site is also handled by a DNS.

I currently playing with different configurations on my IIS to figure out why the access to AccessPoint is quite slow. Now the PROBLEM:

When I removed the HOST HEADER VALUE of my IIS and put it back again, I can no longer access AccessPoint again. Thats the only change I did and when I return the old setting its not working anymore.

Help help help. Thanks.

Elbert

Intuitively, this seems like a DNS problem to me. Add the domain (e.g. domain.com) as a new host header value listening to the same IP address as specified in the DNS entry. The port is set to 80 (the default for http requests). Then set the home directory for the domain web site to the directory (e.g. C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\).
