What creates the log file "DocumentLog.txt" in the Distribution Folder

Hi,

We found out that the logging files of DocumnetLog.txt takes a lot of place in our hard disk server.

We would like that the server will not create them at all.

The files are being created in C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\2\Log\

and they contains the loading process data of each document .

Who creates them and is it possible to disable them?

The Distribution Service creates these when it refreshes a qvw file. There will be a copy of the DocumentLog.txt file in the same folder as the QVW file and named after the qvvw. What you see in the Distribution Service Log is a history of these.

By default QlikView Distribution Service keeps a month of history but that can be changed in a setting, see discussion here.
