How to publish and approve sheets created by other users

I would like to know how can I (as a content manager) publish and aprove sheets made by users.

There are two ways and both are not very user friendly. It's possible to update the repository database. See this blog post: Qlik Tips: Promote a Qlik Sense sheet from Community to Approved.

Or the owner of the app can duplicate it, remove the original and publish the duplicate under the original name.

Thanks for your response Gysbert! Let me just clarify, what you are saying is that the only way for a "moderator" to approve/publish a report made by a business user is to access the Sense database ?

If the moderator is not the owner and cannot become the owner of the app, but does have direct access to the repository database, then yes. Otherwise no.

How can a user take ownership of a report ?

He can't unless he has rights to do so. He needs to be something like a content admin for that stream. Otherwise another admin needs to change the ownership of the app. Or, iirc, the owner of the app can do it too.
