IP Address change causes Reloads to fail

Hi

We recently changed the IP Address of the Main SQL server where I get most of my Qlikview Data from.

I created a new ODBC connector absolutely fine. I can manually reload documents no problem but using a scheduled task on the publisher server fails on reload with the error The qlikview engine being used with document..... is not responding.

Anyone any ideas? I can't see any reason why this is the case. Documents connecting to other SQL servers or not using SQL at all load on the publisher no problem at.

Maybe try re-registering your Source Document? Perhaps there's a reference to the connection string for the old ODBC that didn't get refreshed.

A couple things you can try:

  1. Check the file C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\QlikTech\Publisher\Command Center\QVPR\DBCommandTask.xml and make sure your connection string has been updated there with the new IP address.
  2. Restart all QV services on the server.
