Qlik Sense : Load Binary file from local in a app on hub

Hi All,

I have to load data in my QlikSense app from my local drive though i can view Folder option in the Create connection and when i click on the folder connection it takes me to the server drive.

Is there a specific setting that we have to enable from QMC to upload data from our local drive

please suggest

It's not very clear why you cannot use a normal process (create a new "Connector" to your local drive), but you can activate the "Legacy Mode": Qlik Sense Legacy mode and load your file using the old style...

But note the statement in the article:

Please note that enabling Legacy Mode in Sense Server might have security implications in Sense Server meaning that you won't be able to manage the paths/connection strings in QMC anymore.

Hi Punit,

You should copy your files to server eg. through ftps connection.

Doesn't the DataManager+Add Data option fit for your case?

Please refer the attach file option in the image, which i am referring to.

can anybody let me know how to enable attach file in add data option.

Which setting we have enable on the server?
