29 feb 2016 bug

Hi Qlikers,

I have an issue with 29 feb 2016. If I use the function date(today()) it will return the value 29/02/2016. It was like that yesterday (01/03/2016), and still same issue today  (02/03/2016).

But I don't have this issue on each computer. Some will return the correct date. Those that return value 29/02/2016 every day have the clock in the bottom right corner with the correct date. Also I check in Excel, and it gives me the right date.

So how does it work in Qlik, why for some computers it date is blocked on 29/02/2016?

Best regards

Standard setting for the today()-function is to return the date when the document was opened. If the document has been open since 29/02/2016, that is the date you will see.

Try to either close and reopen the doc or use Today(0) (for date when script was reloaded) or Today(1) for system date. Do you still see 29/02/2016?

Kristofer

This function works on your system or server date kindly check this date it is correct or not. If it is older then it gives old date or vise versa.
