QlikView clustered proposal

We are using QlikView 11.2 SR13 and have clustered license but we not using it right now.

As per the plan we have to use the clustered license so we need to upgrade the current architecture.

I have prepared 2 option(attached). I already prepared pros/cons for new setup but i need your suggestion also.

Please help-

Hi Suman,

Both are not really clear and not the best way i will recommend as a senior IT Manager:

In enterprise infrastructure you have these key elements:

Your gateway/security/Loadbalancer , SAN, QVServers, QVPublisher, QVWeb, Storage.

For clustering i will recommend you to have:

* 2 QVWeb as frontal

* 1 or more QVservers linked to the publisher.

* 1 QVpublishers for scheduling and distributing qvd and qvw.

* 1 share SAN clustered storage FS (or NFS) where all your qvd and qvw will be generated and accessible from other QV servers.

The Loadbalancer will manage redondancy traffic & keep alive toward both Webservers.

Hope this will guide you toward best practice.

Kind regards

Maurice
