Nprinting 17 not able to stop services (Scheduler)

Hi,

I'm trying to install and setup Nprinting 17 with a lot of problems.

Right know everything seems to be working except previewing in the designer. It hangs when I try??

Also noticed that when I try to stop the services the Scheduler will not stop.

"Windows could not stop the QlikView Nprinting Scheduler service on the Local Computer. The service did not return an error. ...."

Anybody having the same problem? Solution?

Hi,

sometimes it could happen that the Scheduler process hangs. If so and you cannot stop it open a command prompt with administrator privileges and launch the following:

taskkill /PID [process id] /F

with [process id] = the PID that you see on the services window

Thank you, I've used the Task Manager so I'm able to stop it.

My problem was that I never could stop it normally through the Services.

I think the final solution was from another topic. Add NPrinting Admin user to Qlikview server after this I can close the scheduler through the normal way "Service".
