Error 1722 installing Qlikview Server 9

Hi, I´m installing Qlikview Server 9 in my laptop for demos to our customers.

My configuration is Windows 7 Ultimate with IIS on going, but when I´m installing the software from "exe" package the "Error 1722. There is a problem with the windows installer package" windows appears.

What can I do?

Thanks in advance for your support.

AR

Hi AR,

This is a Windows error and the root cause can be several different things.
It can be anything from a bad installer (re-download), InstallShield is broken, permissions error (none admin) or registry problems.

Your best course of action would be to get assistance from QlikView Support. These errors are usually solved in less than an hour via remote session.

Regards,

Gustav

I got this error installing on Windows 7 Home 64bit.

The installation worked when i created a new admin account for the QV Server to run as (svc_qlikview).

The only difference between that and my original admin user name is no spaces in the name...

I had the same Error 1722 when installing QV Server version 10 SR2 onto awindows 2008 64bit server.

As soon as i changed the admin account to remove the space in the username, the install worked fine.

The error was appearing when the service account try’s to give itself"logon as a service" rights, i think.

Hello, I got the same problem with the Qlikview server 11.2. Error 1722. I tried by changing the name to the administrator account(without spaces) and yet the package shows me that my username still has the space and I can't figure out what's the problem. Can you help me or guide me on how to solve this problem?
