Reload Script on Access Point

Hi all together,

I have a question about the reload script posted in another thread in this forum.
I use a module with this code inside:

activeDocument.reload

When I click the button with the script in action, the reload script is run and the file gets new data (in QV Personal).
My problem is, that this button has no "function" when clicked on in QV Access Point, neither in AJAX nor in JAVA mode.

Any suggestions or hints ?

Hello Benjamin,

As far as I know, it's not possible to reload a document opened in the server (it's not even possible with the Desktop application, selection Open in server...). There are some posts about a triggered edx task (another document in QlikView that performs some actions).

I agree with the previous post--you can't reload when opening in server. I've created similar functionality by making an EDX reload task and then triggering it with a button.
