Access Point Categories

Hi Guys.

Can anyboady suggest me about following.

in which file I can find Acces Point categories.

I mean in Management console you can set categories for each file and get your files categorized on Acces Point.

Where I can grab this data?

I believe they are located here: C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Publisher\CommandCenter\QVPR\Category.xml.

But Category.xml contain categories for publisher. it's a different classification.

Target categories using only for Access Point.

I must misunderstand your question as that file contains all possible Categories that could be on the accesspoint for a user. The meta file for each report will dictate what categories they will see.

Are you on version 9.0?

Yes. QV 9.0 SR4.

I set categories for files today at the first time to avoid <Default>. on Access Point.

Don't know when data writing to config files. Maybe thats the problem ? But I found only old records in Config.xml

If you have not published your reports since making the changes, you will not see the new categories. Upon publish, it puts the category into the meta file for that particular report.
