We have tried to upgrade from Qlikview 9 SR5 to Qlikview 9 SR6. Unfortunately once we have upgraded and restarted the server the Qlikview Server is showing as disconnected in the Qlikview Management Console. Please can you give us guidlines. We are currently re-installing SR5.
Stop all services except the Qlikview server service in Windows and remove all service_key.txt from all services folders except the QVS. Restart the services from windows services after that. This should solve the issue.
We've got/had exactly the same issue, so your solution was valuable - thanks! Just wondering if you'd heard anything from Qlikview regarding a longer term fix on this as we tend to restart our Qlikview Server on a regular basis and this is a little annoying!?
