Upgraded QV Server from v9 to v10: Link to Access Point does not work anymore

Any one have this same experience and found a solution?

After the upgrade to V10, the link to the Access Point does not work any more.

It does work on the local server (localhost), but not over the internet. In V9 this worked fine.

This is the link that works (on the server itself):

http://localhost/qlikview/index.htm

And this is the link that worked before, but not any more (with v10):

http://<url of our server>:4750/qlikview/index.htm#

Just followed the upgrade procedure, did not make any changes in the config.

Have tried different other combinations, without success.

Any ideas from you to get this solved?

The link you should use is http://servername/qlikview

The URL you posted http://<url of our server>:4750/qlikview/index.htm# I am not sure how this worked. Port 4750 is the port that the QlikView webserver uses to communicate with the management console.

I have the same problem with QlikView 10. I can get to the QEMC and QMC without issue, but I cannot see anything at http://localhost/qlikview. Any ideas?

The URL, including port number, seems to be ok, worked like that for version 9, and looking in the log-file I can see that it gets through, but if fails to find the file index.htm. Some how a folder name got screwed up, QlikTech is looking into it now. Think it has to do with the fact that some of the folder names have changed in QV10.

What worked for us:

1. Go to QV EMC, System Setup QV Web Servers, Authentication

2. Change Authentication to Login

3. Change Login Adress to "default login page... )

4. Start the Access Point with http://serveradress/qlikview/login2.thm

Unfortunately, does not work for me.

Actually have given-up for now. Spent almost 4 days trying to make QV10-server work, not able to get the Access Point working, even with the help of QlikTech support, we were not able to fix this.

Have decided to uninstall QV-10 and install QV-9 again. And now the Access Point is available again. So there must be something going wrong during the upgrade. Very frustrating.

Glad I saw this, was going to upgrade mine but I think I'll wait until there is some closure.

It is on the agenda of QlikTech support, hope they find a solution shortly.
