Let me know if you like this work-around:
I used two objects - 1 for the text and 1 for the measure - I set both responsive modes to NONE:
And sized them as so:
I attached a sample .qvf too. Please copy .qvf file to your C:\Users\<user profile>\Documents\Qlik\Sense\Apps and refresh Qlik Sense Desktop with F5
I will report this to PM, but I am aware that we are improving the behavior to allow more finer control and styling in future releases.

text_spacing.qvf 288.0 K
Thank you Michael for the answer, but 2 objects are not an option, as dynamic change (screen resizing etc.) and difference in font size between text and measure for example makes those 2 objects not lined up.
But yes, some people would definitely find the answer helpful, as i have some of my work set up this way.
How to add space between two values or texts in QLik sense:-
For one space:-
For more than one:-
&chr(160)&chr(160)&chr(160)[this is for 3 space]
='Overall sales'&Repeat(Chr(160),4) & Num( Avg(Sales),'#,0')
Here "4" is equal to number of spaces . you can also give 5,6,7,....so on
I have tried this syntax in my app and it's working fine
