I have deployed my applications and code to production. Now, everyday i see there are a few .xls and .csv files are created in the root folder. Not sure why they are created.
Is there something I missed out in setting up the environment?
What have you sent your temp directory as ? Likely it is not set and it is defaulting to the root directory. these files are created in the temp directory when a user 'exports to excel'.

I can't find it documented right now but it looks to be less that 24 hours based on the system I am using. What I don't know however if it is time or threshold based, so it may vary.
