Nprinting filter issue

i have a similar problem with nprinting filters. When an existing filter condition is updated with a new value and saved , the nprinting run picks up the old value.

in this case the only workaround for me is to delete the filter and recreate the filter all over again. it is a problem when it comes to building multiple values within the same filter.

has any one come across this problem?

kindly let me know if you need more description

i have attached the log and filter condition

Hi Krishna,

From the screenshots I see that you have a filter called Transport, that filters for the value Bulk Transport on field Business and has Verify filter enabled. When the task is run and the filter applied there were no results returned for Business=Bulk Transport. So, what did you change & what is not working?

Hi Daniel

yes , to explain, from the screenshot , i have updated an filter by name 'Bulk Transport' to 'Transport' and the filter value is changed from 'Bulk Transport' to 'Transport' , these changes were made and the nsq was saved.

but now when the Nprinting schedule picked up this report to be run, it is taking up the earlier value of 'Bulk Transport' when it should filter using 'Transport'. this is quite weird and i believe somewhere the nprinting is retaining the old value and confused with filters.

if i run manually, the nprinting picks the 'Transport'

WE have seen this behaviour earlier in the recipients lists while it is trying to import from a spreadsheet.

Happy to provide further info.

Hi Daniel

What is really worrying is i have a report which has a 60 filters and each time the nprinting schedule runs , my filter updates from 'Bulk Transport' to 'Transport' get updated to the old values 'Bulk Transport' and the nsq is timestamped with time.

am i missing something here?

Hi Krishna,

I do not see that in your screenshots. I only see filter named Business Transport which applies value Transport to field Business. The log shows your task is applying a filter called Transport with value Bulk Transport to field Business. It looks like your NPrinting server is pointing to a different NSQ from the one you posted the filters screenshot of.

I suggest you open a Support case if you can't get it to work.

- Daniel.
