    QV management service issue: category does not exist

      All,

      I am having an issue with the QV Management Service. Account running the service works fine for the other QV services but once I try to open the QMC I see the following error message in my QMC log:

      “6/24/2016 13:57:07.9918124      Warning               Checking Performance Counter 'QvaEngine.Execute call duration' exists failed. Exception: Category does not exist.

      6/24/2016 13:57:07.9938134        Warning               Create Performance Counter 'QvaEngine.Execute call duration'. Exception: Category does not exist.

      6/24/2016 13:57:07.9938134        Warning               Create Performance Counter Data Collection. Exception: Category does not exist.

      6/24/2016 13:57:07.9938134        Warning               Setup of Performance Counters failed. Exception: Category does not exist.

      6/24/2016 13:57:07.9948162        Information        QlikView Management Service Initialization failed, service stopped. Reason: Category does not exist.”

      Any idea how to resolve this?
