Which objects dont work as expected in AJAX

Hello Community,

I'm looking to put together a list of objects that work fine in designer, but then don't display or behave the same way in AJAX.

Eventually I'd like to put a wiki page together, has anyone got any docs/pdf/qvw i can use?

One example to start off with, from QV10 SR1:

Multibox, grid view.
The multibox can be set to present in grid view mode, with the selection areas underneath the field instead of to the right.
In AJAX this view doesn't work and the default normal right hand style is used.

1. The horizontal-aligned straight table does display properly in AJAX.

2. This isn't too common, but if you define an expression as an image instead of text, the expression must always be an image for it to work in AJAX. You can not mix images and text in the same expression which the Plug-in handles fine.

Hi Karl,

Thanks for the post, i had added your items to the list, and during testing i've found that the horizontal straight table has been fixed (in my v10 SR1 anyway) I used the webview mode in the designer to test.

With the second item, do you have an example as i'm not sure exactly what you mean? it may also have been fixed in 10SR1.

Thanks,
Peter.

Hi

Good initiative!

These are for v9 SR7:

  • Horizontal straight table is not working (FF 3.6.13 / IE 8.0)
  • Rounded corners in tables and text fields are not rounded in IE 8.0 (rounded correctly in FF 3.6.13 though)
