qlik sense user directory

hi all,

trying to connect user attributes through excel connector (ODBC)

connection string is: DRIVER={Microsoft Excel Driver (*.xls, *.xlsx, *.xlsm, *.xlsb)};DBQ=C:\users.xlsx

and getting a consistent error for the connection string

any ideas?

connected successful through ODBC connection is configured and operational sync complete,

but still i cant see any users.. am i missing something..?

Try changing excel format to xls and not xlsx. I had the same issue and new xml format (xlsx) seems not to be supported in qlik sense directory connection.

Did you install the MS Access Database driver to your server?  If I remember correctly you need to do that.

I load xlsx format with no problem.

Also, the User Directory name on mine is the server name.  Don't know if that makes a difference or not.

yes I installed Ms access engine 2010 64 bits specially for this. Previously 32 bit was installed.
