We are now testing QV solution for our client reporting analysis. Data source will be MSOLAP.4 data cubes that we would like to access straight form QV using MDX queries.
There is no single working example of doing that, we know that we need to use OPENROWSET and it works with MSSQL database (we tested that
solution) but we can make QV connect to OLAP cubes using it. C We also tried to use QV generated connection string to MSOLAP.4 but with no luck also.
Can you point some example or help about OPENROWSET and MSOLAP?
PS. I tried examples from forum, maybe we need some kind of tutorial 😕
