Qlik Licensing

Hello All.

We would like to install QlikView Server and Nprinting on a new production server, but run parallel with our old server until the new installation is verified.

Is there a way to do this and avoid duplicate licensing issues other than purchasing additional licenses?

Thank you in advance.

Tom

You could ask qlik or your partner for a temporary migration-licence.

Except if you cut the network between the two machines.

Or never run them both at the same time (shutdown one, start the other and vice-versa)

But the best solution is - as Marcus suggested - to try to get a temporary license from your partner.

Best,

Peter

Hi Tom,

It is not possible to use same license in parallel. May be Qlik can help you in any way in this.

Thank you Markus. I will request that our management team ask for a temporary license while we test the new installation.
