Looking for a way to automate filtering a QlikView Nprinting Report

Hi,

Any ideas on how I can apply certain filters based on some user inputs and then automate the process of generation of an nprinting report.

I'll give you an example.

QlikView Report: Suppose I have OrderSummary.qvw dashboard which gives summary of certain thousand orders. It has filters like Start Date, End Date, Region, Customer.

QlikView Nprinting Report: I have OrderSummary.nsq with a Excel Template ready, on which I can create filters, report tasks and jobs. I am able to generate PDF, Excel and HTML reports out of this easily.

Requirement: There is a web interface on which a user selects customer, Start Date, End Date, and Region and wants to extract a PDF/Excel/HTML report based on his selection. User clicks on a button and I get an Nprinting generated excel, pdf, or html report generated on a particular path. There is no option of creating thousands of jobs because the everyday the start and end date may change and we may have thousands of combinations of the all the filters.

Hi Kunal,

Since you mention .nsq files I assume you are on version 16.x. Take a look at NPrinting On-demand: QlikView NPrinting 16 Tutorials - On-Demand

Specifically: How to Use Current Selections with On-Demand Reporting
