No Valid Geographic Data Available for Current selection-QlikMap

I am getting data from an excel file containing longitude and latitudes which I want to show on map (using QlikMap Points extension).

The problem is that  only blue markers are being shown on map and nothing else. Apart from that , if I select a specific zip code to show on map then the message is shown that ‘No Geographic Data available for current selection’ although the longitude and latitudes are correct.Thanks very much in advance.

P.S I am working offline

Hi,

Create a new field data load script as makegeopoint(lat,lon) as Location

and use that in the Maps extension

QlikMaps need Internet connection to render data on map unless it is a Qlik Maps 2.3

No geographic data' = You do not have data for that location or map cannot trace it.

Yes it needs internet connection for Maps.
