I'm trying to get the closing YTD balance for last financial year- how do I write the expression using the following 3 seperate dimensions  SUM(GLBal.YTDActual) where the ( year =(X_REPORTING_YEAR)-1) & period = and GLPeriod.PeriodMonth=12

May be like this  ..

Sum({<year ={' $(VmaxYear) '},GLPeriod.PeriodMonth={'12'},period ={'12'}>} GLBal.YTDActual)

Variable:  VmaxYear =    " =Max(X_REPORTING_YEAR)-1"
