Emails cannot be sent by NPrinting 17.2 and in the log file we can see the error: Server does not support secure connections.
In the NPrinting email setting, we only have two or three options. We have tried all we can do but we are still having this issue.
Does anyone know anything about it?
Thanks
Fei
Hi Fei,
If you Google that error message you will find that it is thrown by your SMTP server. Apparently (and at the risk of stating the obvious) your SMTP server does not support secure connections . I would first try to un-check the Use TLS (transport layer security) check box. If that doesn't work, I suggest you involve your SMTP server administrator in troubleshooting this.
HTH - Daniel.

Thank you very much Daniel. Uncheck the "Use TLS (transport layer security)" solved the problem.
Cheers.

If you prefer, you can set up a SMTP server local on NPrinting Server and use them as a Security Relay Server to gateway your reports to your main SMTP Server.
Here some posts to help you install and configure a smtp relay server.

in this post you have a step-by-step to do it.
