# Set Analysis, Conditional with more that one value

Hello all,

I have a field called "dataX" and this could have different values for instance "36" and "46". How could I insert a condition rule in my set analysis in the way that "dataX" only takes into accoun values that contains a  "6"??

For instance:

if(dataX=36, question)

if(dataX=46, question)

And now, how I could insert an conditional for values of dataX that contains a "6" in order to appear the values "36", "46" and whichever value that contains a "6"?

Hi,

You can try this.

Only({<DataX = {"3","6"}>}question)

Sorry,

I have edited the problem:

Thanks!

Are you using this as a dimension? If yes then may be this:

If(WildMatch(dataX, '*6'), question)

• ###### Re: Set Analysis, Conditional with more that one value

For set analysis, may be this:

Only({<dataX = {'*6'}>} question)

• ###### Re: Set Analysis, Conditional with more that one value

Hello Sunny, this solution goes well, thanks.

What if I wan to add more condition apart from that?

For instance, my actual expression is:

If( dataY=6 and  dataZ= 4, question)

How could I add this expresion "Only({<dataX = {'*6'}>}" inside the actual expression?

• ###### Re: Set Analysis, Conditional with more that one value

May be like this:

Only({<dataX = {'*6', '*4'}>} question)

or

Only({<dataX = {'6', '4'}>} question)

• ###### Re: Set Analysis, Conditional with more that one value

Hello Sunny,

I think I didn't express myself well;

I would like to put in a same expresion three conditions:

-dataY=6

-dataZ=4

-dataX= whichever value that contains a '6'.

My question is: Inside this expresion Only({<dataX = {'*6'}>} question), how could I add the other conditions

dataY=6  and dataZ=4? Since  I have to take into accoun the three condition and I am not able to do it with a "Only" in the expresion.

Oh, my bad, I did not see the the difference in field. May be this:

Only({<dataX = {'*6'}, dataY = {6}, dataZ = {4}>} question)

• ###### Re: Set Analysis, Conditional with more that one value

List the additional conditions separated with commas:

Only({<DataX = {"*6*"}, DataY={6}, DataZ={4}>} question)

For Set analysis.

Only({<DataX = {"*6*"}>} question)

So where ever its 6 it will consider.

Like

36,46,68,165....

Hello!

This expression goes well, but, what it I want to add more conditions?

For instance, my actual expression is:

If( dataY=6 and  dataZ= 4, question)

How could I add this expresion "Only({<dataX = {'*6'}>}" inside the actual expression?
