Qlik sense, join several tables with the same column

Data set:

Several tables with one same column (name); need to analyze the relationship of data among all those tables.

Which is better to join?

1: to use Qlik sense default join, as tables sharing one same column (name)

2: to use aliases of the same column, and then join those tables

Thanks!

If the tables have only one field name in common then you don't have to do anything. Qlik Sense will associate the tables using the common field.

Hi Gysbert , thanks for your help!

That will be choice #1, Qlik default join, and also no synthetic key issue.

The further question is:

3: If need to analyze the common column, such as, max, count, ete, aliases is better, is it right?

4: basically, to analyze all the columns among those different tables, is aliases necessary?

3. Probably not. But I don't know what kind of data is in that key field. Normally key field values are not facts and therefore not aggregated.

4. No. But perhaps I don't understand what you mean with 'to analyze all the columns'
