Windows Touchscreen behaviour breaking Qlik Sense for mouse users

We are using an HP EliteBook laptop with touchscreen.

We do not need the touchscreen interface and have tried turning it off (using the Pen + Input settings in the Windows Control Panel).

But in spite of our efforts, Qlik Sense will not show the standard "maximize" and other buttons when you linger over a chart with the mouse.  Only way to get this to work is to right click on chart object.  But this only works in Qlik Sense Desktop and not when using the browser version (e.g. Qlik Cloud).

Does anyone know how to remedy this problem for Windows 7 or for the HP EliteBook?

We are running Qlik Sense 3.2 SR1 on Windows 7.
