Re: IE Plugin Issue
Chip Matejowsky May 5, 2017 10:43 AM (in response to Muthu Kumar )Hi Muthu,
Are any errors returned when attempting to open QVW via IE Plugin? If so, can you post them?
To Andrew's point, is port 4747 open on the laptop? IE Plugin communicates directly with QVS via 4747.
For extended logging, you can make the below configuration change for IE Plugin client:
1. In Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Qliktech\QlikView
2. Edit Settings.ini
3. Under [Settings 7] section, enter ExtendedErrorLoggingMode=1
4. Save Document
The extended error logging for IE Plugin will be written to C:\Users\<User>\Documents
Hope this helps,
Chip
