Auto dim value selection on app start.

I have a requirement to automatically select the current Month YYYY-MM from a Dim when the app is open, but can't find a default selection or similar alternative. I have the Date dim ona filter, but it won't allow me to set an expression to default to set the current month once the app opens. Any help would be appreciated.

Try using an extension to achieve this.

I have not heard that this is a new feature in the June 2017 release.  You can do it in QlikView.  An extension is your only option in the short term if there is one that does what you need.
