Having this error when trying to load the free data from Data Market. Here is the screen shot:
That IP address is for Data Market. Not sure what is wrong with port 443. Port 443 is not taken by any other program.
This happened in Sense 3.2 SR4 server. Hub and QMC both work well. This is not a new Sense server. We just haven't load any data before from DataMarket.
Anyone has any idea please?
Thank you very much!
Fei
Fei,
Does the Server have internet connection? Also, check if any firewall is blocking that port.
The server has the internet and it can even preview the data and set up the link.
Within the domain, the firewall is off. I think the client has some proxy server / firewall for the whole domain. I am not sure if the firewall for the domain is blocking the port. Will ask them to check but does the port 443 needs to be open when loading data from DataMarket?
Thanks
Fei
Hi,
and you should connect to the perticular server in your machine then you can load it will work.
Thank you for your reply but I don't understand what you meant about the particular server?
When I set up the connection to DataMarket, I don't have choice to select any server hence I am confused.
Thanks
Fei
This error is a network-related error occurred while establishing a connection to the Server. It means that the error is occurring because there is no server listening at the hostname and port you assigned. It happens that something is preventing a connection to the port or hostname. Either there is a firewall blocking the connection or the process that is hosting the service is not listening on that specific port. This may be because it is not running at all or because it is listening on a different port. So, no connection can be established. The solution to this problem is that connect to the same end point your server is listening on.
