i have a date format like : "Thu Jan 19 11:23:27 SGT 2017" . i want to make it like : 'DD/MM/YYYY hh:mm'.
Hi Priyabrata ,
You can use data strings to separate or split in required format.
Share link for string functions , have a look for required format
May be this:
=Date(Date#(Replace(Mid(Field,5),' SGT ',' '),'MMM DD hh:mm:ss YYYY'), 'DD/MM/YYYY hh:mm')

You can go for MakeDate() function for this and spread your date string in Year, Month, Day and then convert the current date to your date format.
After long time nice to see you back in community ..Hope you will continue the same with different approaches
